Fellowships
Young Academic Fellow
Institute for Higher Education Policy
2011
The Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) selected 20 emerging scholars to participate in a policy analysis fellowship. In collaboration with another IHEP fellow, I reviewed recent research related postsecondary access and the connection between K-12 and postsecondary education. We created policy briefs based upon the findings that would be most useful for policymakers. IHEP fellows also attend a biannual policy summit where research briefs are presented to policymakers. In addition, the fellowship included a $10,000 stipend from the Lumina Foundation.
Faculty Center Learning Lab Fellow

The Faculty Center at the University of the Pacific selected faculty members to participate in professional development related to innovative approaches to teaching and learning. In addition to receiving training, fellows got the opportunity to teach classes in the Faculty Learning Lab.
